Calling for film scripts

I received this message from Peter Kirk and thought I would post it here in case anyone is interested. Peter has been directing film and TV for over eight years. He has worked for networks such as Foxtel, 10 and Seven as a director, producer. Peter has directed over seven short films and over 500 hours of TV.

Peter is now looking for scripts. While he is not associated with the Sydney Writers' Centre, I thought it would be useful to post his call for scripts.

An overseas investor is interested in investing an amount of money into local Australian productions.
If you have written a script or screenplay for a film then this is your opportunity to get it produced..

We are currently looking for:

  • Scripts within the 200k budget.
  • Strong Australian content
  • non adapted screenplays
  • Original material.

The genre of the film is not important, it must however have some level of commercial marketability. We  would also prefer scripts that are already past 2nd draft and owned by the writer.

If this sound of interest to you. than please contact Peter  Kirk on 0405 6444 85 or  email Peter @  creativepictures@gmail.com

Peter adds that the DOP of this film has made the Tropfest final twice. and was voted Kodax International Rising Star award, which sent him to the Cannes Intertnational Film Festival.  This is to be Peter's first feature film. He has just completed the Linkin Park video clip. The production company has been going for over 5 years.
