2007 Frustrated Writers Mentoring Award

I received this note from the Children's Book Council of Australia and it's worth checking out ...

Frustrated Writers, ALERT! You may be closer than you think to being published if a MSS of yours wins a mentoring award to encourage writing for children!

The Children's Book Council of Australia (NSW Inc) grants 3 mentoring awards for unpublished writers living in NSW who are in three age categories:

  • Junior (under 15)
  • Young Adult (15 to 20), and
  • Senior (over 20).

Visit the CBCA(NSW) website (www.cbc.org.au/nsw) for the entry form and the conditions of entry. The website also contains judges' comments on the 2005 and 2006 Frustrated Writers winning and shortlisted MSS.

Entries close Monday 11 June 2007.
