Another student is published

I was really happy to hear from recent student Marija Castellari today. Marija recently attended the course Feature Writing for Magazines and Newspapers here at the Sydney Writers' Centre.

Marija came to the course with no writing experience - but loads of enthusiasm. Today, her first published article appeared in The Sydney Morning Herald. It was about how to handle kids who are scared of Santa!

This is the email Marija just sent to me:

"You inspired and motivated me to believe that a freelance writing career is definitely possible.

I am now a published writer! The first article I ever submitted was published in the SMH, Essential lift-out on 30/11/06.
