I'm really committed to helping students get published. I also make a point to encourage students to keep in touch with me after they have completed a course. Especially if they are about to make their first pitch to a magazine or newspaper.
I'm more than happy for students to ask for feedback on articles they want to get published even after the course is over.
Monica recently completed the course: Feature writing in magazines and newspapers. She subsequently contacted me for feedback on her article about Sydney/Melbourne rivalry. Monica did a great job. I'm so thrilled her piece was recently published by Radar in The Sydney Morning Herald.
