Guess who’s supporting Taylor & Khoo?
If you’ve been watching Celebrity Survivor (on Thursday nights, 8.30pm, in Australia on Seven), you’ll have noticed celebs like Imogen Bailey, Wayne Gardner, Gabrielle Richens and former Wallaby Elton Flatley battle it out to be the last person standing on the island.
Well, apart from being entertaining television – let’s face it, the betrayals and challenges are must-see viewing – Celebrity Survivor is also going to help the kids at the Sunrise Angkor Orphanage in Cambodia.
And that’s all thanks to the wonderful and generous Imogen Bailey. This gorgeous model and media personality has chosen Taylor & Khoo (raising money under the auspices of the Australia Cambodia Foundation) as her chosen charity. As a result of just being one of the participants, Imogen is donating $5000.
If she wins, this turns into $100,000 for the orphanage. So guess what? We’re backing Imogen every step of the way and we hope that she’s definitely the last person standing. Go girl!
This kind of support really inspires us and will make a huge difference at the orphanage – thank you Imogen.
What’s happening at the orphanage?
Gerald Trevor, the Phnom Penh-based chairman of the Australian Cambodia Foundation reports that the orphanage is now accepting HIV+ children, a big step. Meanwhile, some of the kids in Siem Reap had an excursion to the amazing temple Beng Mealea, which is one of the most amazing ruins surrounding Angkor Wat. Here are some pics:
